GORDON “GEORGE” L. HOLLEY, 84, of Chester, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at his residence.

He was born to the late Gordon V. and Rosann (nee Korando) Holley on March 1, 1939 in Chester, Illinois.

Gordon married Barbara A. (nee Hirte) Steele on December 31, 1976; she survives.

It was Gordon’s wish to be cremated and to be remembered as he was known, therefore no services or burial will be held as he wanted.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice and are being accepted at Pechacek Funeral Home, Chester, Illinois.
