Gregory L. Renfroe

GREGORY L. RENFROE, 61, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 8:31 pm, Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Memorial Hospital, Chester, Illinois.

He was born to the late Toye D. and Martha Sue (nee Downing) Renfroe on October 1, 1962 in Lawrence, Kansas.

Gregory married Robin Worstell on March 5, 1982 in Bridgeport, Illinois; she survives.

He had worked as a K9 Specialist for Illinois Department of Corrections for 25 years.

Gregory was a member of Grace Church Ministries where he was involved in the youth group. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge #72 in Chester. Gregory enjoyed gaming, doing demonstrations with his police dogs, going on walks with his family, fishing and spending time with his family and dogs.

He was a United States Air Force Veteran.
