Helen M. Korando

HELEN M. KORANDO, 89, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 7:35 pm, Friday, April 16, 2021 at Independence Care Center, Perryville, Missouri.

She was born to the late Howard W. and Mary J. (nee Moll) Hecht on March 1, 1932 in Chester, Illinois.

Helen married Bernard M. Korando on September 23, 1950 in Piggott, Arkansas; he preceded her in death on May 14, 2018.

She was a homemaker.

Helen was a member of St. Mary Church of Divine Maternity in Ellis Grove, Illinois. She loved gardening, working with her flowers, sewing and making quilts. Helen was a wonderful and loving mother and grandma.
