Howard W. Varnum

HOWARD W. VARNUM , 76 , of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 7:55 am, Friday, December 25, 2020 at his residence.

He was born to the late Howard L. and Elsie (nee Sauerbrunn) Varnum on April 11, 1944 in Murphysboro, Illinois.

Howard married Linda Caughron on December 2, 1978 in Peoria, Illinois; she survives.

He had worked as a machinist for Caterpillar, Inc. in Peoria, Illinois for 32 years.

He was of the Lutheran Faith and a member of V.F.W. Post # 6632 in Red Bud, Illinois. He loved cars and enjoyed helping people.

He was a Vietnam War Army Veteran.
