Ida Elizabeth Probst

IDA ELIZABETH PROBST , 97, of New Athens, Illinois, passed away at 7:02 pm, Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Freeburg Care Center, Freeburg, Illinois.

She was born to the late Michael and Margaret (nee Marian) Hammond on October 9, 1925 in Belleville, Illinois.

Ida was married to Ray Charles Probst and he preceded her in death on May 18, 2016.

Ida was a homemaker and a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Smithton. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, square dancing and going on bus tour with her husband.
