James F Quick

JAMES F. QUICK , 83, of Baldwin, Illinois, passed away at 10:30 am, Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Mercy South Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

He was born to the late Frank A. and Lorraine (nee Huskey) Quick on February 9, 1940 in East St. Louis, Illinois.

James married Donna Bernard on May 30, 1959 in St. Phillips Catholic Church in East St. Louis, Illinois; she survives.

He worked as a printer for the Belleville News Democrat for 13 years and part-time security officer for Gateway Mine in Coulterville, Illinois. He also had served as past Mayor in Baldwin.

He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes in Sparta, Illinois and Moose Lodge #4 in Caseyville, Illinois. James also was a coordinator for blood drives for the American Red Cross.
