Janet Marie Dickey

JANET MARIE DICKEY, 81, of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 3:07 pm, Monday April 24, 2023. She passed away comfortably at Randolph County Care Center in Sparta, Illinois.

She was born to the late Vernon and Roberta (nee Levery) McIntyre on January 2, 1942 in Red Bud, Illinois along with her twin brother, Gene.

Janet married Alvin Dickey on July 15, 1961 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Evansville, Illinois. They were the loves of each others lives.

She was very fun, loving, caring and she was never afraid of hard work. She made everyone feel welcome and her main love was her grandchildren. She enjoyed volunteering for toys for tots and the American Cancer Society.

Janet was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Evansville, Illinois.

She will be dearly missed and it will be hard to forget the way she touched each of our lives.

The family would also like to thank everyone at the Randolph County Care Center and the Hospice team for the love and care that they provided.
