Walsh

JASON KYLE EGGEMEYER, 53, of Walsh, Illinois, passed away at 5:15 pm, Monday, February 23, 2026, at Mercy South Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

He was born to Lonnie and Michele (nee Valleroy) Eggemeyer on January 7, 1973 at Sparta, Illinois.

He had worked at Eco Material Technologies in Baldwin, Illinois, for 33 years.

Jason was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Evansville, Illinois.

A lifelong musician, he spent years playing bass guitar in various bands, a passion that led him to collaborate with his cousins to help produce several songs. His musical tastes were bold and eclectic; he was a die-hard heavy metal fan, with Pantera holding a special place in his heart, but he also had a deep appreciation for the raw storytelling of outlaw country. Beyond the music, he found great joy in the thrill of going to the casino with his mom and in developing many new friendships. Jason was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed riding a motorcycle.
