Jeffrey "Jeff" A. Gartley

JEFFREY “JEFF” A. GARTLEY, 69, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 5:02 pm, Friday, October 20, 2023 at Saint Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

He was born to the late Eliot and Marie (nee Williams) Gartley in Buffalo, New York on November 22, 1953.

Jeff married Kimberly Kay Turner on May 15, 1987 in West Plains, Missouri; she preceded him in death on June 27, 2022.

Jeff had worked at Menard Correctional Center in Chester, Illinois until his retirement.

He was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and Eagles Club Aerie #3252, both in Chester, Illinois. Jeff enjoyed his Mustang and riding his motorcycle. He loved completing projects around the house. He was also a huge Buffalo Bills Football fan.
