Jeffrey S. Surman

JEFFREY S. SURMAN, 55, of Ellis Grove, Illinois, passed away at 7:44 pm, Monday, January 21, 2019 at his residence.

He was born to Ronald and Betty (nee Diercks) Surman on May 10, 1963 in Red Bud, Illinois.

Jeff married Jennifer Bollinger on October 4, 2015 in Destin, Florida; she survives.

He had worked as a security guard at Chester Mental Health Center for over 25 years.

Jeff was a member of St. Mary’s Church of Divine Maternity in Ellis Grove, Illinois. He was a firefighter for the Village of Ellis Grove for over 20 years. Jeff was also a member of the Eagles Club Aerie #3252 in Chester. He was very active with coaching his children in sports and was an Andy Griffith fan. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and riding his motorcycle.
