JEWELL L. CHESLICK , 98, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 2:55 pm, Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Three Springs Senior Living and Rehabilitation, Chester, Illinois.

She was born to the late William and Clara (nee Suchman) Cluster on February 26, 1926 in Ava, Illinois.

Jewell married John L. Cheslick on June 26, 1946 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on December 3, 2010.

She had worked at International Shoe Factory and the Knitting Mill in Chester before she became a homemaker.

Jewell was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and the Altar Sodality in Chester, Illinois. She also volunteered in the cafeteria at St. Mary’s Catholic School in Chester.

Jewell and her husband, John, enjoyed traveling and especially loved to go to Branson, Missouri.
