Joyce M. Kalmer

JOYCE M. KALMER , 89 , of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 11:35 pm, Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, Illinois.

She was born to the late John W. and Hilda E. (nee Boll) Whiteside on September 16, 1932 in Red Bud, Illinois.

Joyce married Joseph H. Kalmer on November 23, 1950 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; he preceded her in death on September 12, 1995.

Joyce had been a homemaker and had also worked at Singer Furnace Factory and then worked in the Kitchen at St. Clement’s Hospital in Red Bud, Illinois.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Red Bud, Illinois, St. Anne’s C.C.W. Altar Sodality and V.F.W. Auxiliary in Red Bud, Illinois. Joyce and her husband cleaned the church for many years. Joyce also played the harmonica.
