Karen Delores Whittenburg

KAREN DELORES WHITTENBURG, 62, of Ellis Grove, Illinois, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, Illinois.

She was born to the late Harold John “Hattie” and Sharon Delores (nee Ramsey) Bodeker on May 14, 1961 in Red Bud, Illinois.

Karen married Roy Schulein on April 30, 1983; he preceded her in death on August 6, 1986. She then married Larry Whittenburg on July 28, 1990; he survives.

She retired as head cook from Chester Grade School after 26 years.
