KARNAL C. PHEGLEY, 82, of Baldwin, Illinois, passed away at 12:03 pm, Monday, May 3, 2021 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, Illinois.
He was born to the late Calvin and Ruby (nee Kempfer) Phegley on July 27, 1938 in Roots, Illinois.
Karnal married Elizabeth Hartmann on December 29, 1965 in Cairo, Illinois; she survives.
He had worked as a Stationary Engineer at Chester Mental Health for 30 years.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Baldwin, Illinois, American Legion Post #619 in Baldwin, Illinois and V.F.W. Post # 3553 in Chester, Illinois. He was an Army Veteran.
Karnal loved farming, woodworking and tinkering in his shop. He enjoyed taking his dog on Gator rides.
