KENNETH FRED LIEFER, 86 , of Pasadena, California, passed away early Saturday morning on December 26, 2020 at Regency Park Oak Knoll retirement home in Pasadena, California.
He was born to the late Henry C. and Emma K. (nee Wegener) Liefer on December 14, 1934 in Red Bud, Illinois.
He was a loving father to his children and grandfather to his grandchildren. He left them with many cherished memories that will stay with them forever.
He started his professional career as a buyer for Emerson Electric. Later in his career, he moved into sales and eventually started his own company, Liefer and Associates, which represented manufacturing companies.
A few of his favorite pastimes were golfing and fishing. He enjoyed golfing with a close group of friends whom he shared many laughs with on and off the golf course. Lastly, the crappie in the Lake of the Ozarks are both saddened by his loss but relieved his fishing pole will now be retired.
He was a member of several churches over his lifetime including Our Savior Lutheran Church in Arcadia, CA and Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Charles, MO.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, January 7, 2021 at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Red Bud, Illinois. Due to COVID-19, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date when it is safe to travel and gather.
We ask that everyone wears a mask and please use social distancing guidelines.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to the American Cancer Society in his name.
