Kenneth B Lutz

KENNETH B. LUTZ , 8 8 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 4:15 pm, Monday, June 22, 2020 at his residence.

He was born to the late Harry and Margaret (nee Kuhrtz) Lutz on November 21, 1931 in Chester, Illinois.

He married Marion Wilson on September 20, 1953 in West Palm Beach, Florida; she preceded him in death on July 14, 2016.

Kenny owned and operated Chester Greenhouse and Nursery for 42 years.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church and Methodist Men Club in Chester, Illinois. He was also a member of American Legion Post # 487 in Chester, Illinois and former member of the Chester Rotary Club, Chester Chamber of Commerce and Elks Lodge #1629. He was a charter member of the Chester Country Club and enjoyed playing golf with his son, sons-in-law and grandsons.

He was Air Force Korean War Veteran.

Preceded in Death by : Parents, Wife, 1 Granddaughter – Kara Lutz and 1 Brother-in-law – Ron Wilson

Private Graveside Service will be held at Ellis Grove City Cemetery, Ellis Grove, Illinois.

Memorials contributions can be made in Kenny ’s memory to First United Methodist Church and

memorials are being accepted at the Pechacek Funeral Homes in Chester .
