Kevin L. Young

KEVIN L. YOUNG , 55 , of Steeleville, Illinois, passed away at 2:14 am, Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

He was born to the late William “Bill” and Mary (nee Summers) Young on September 18, 1964 in Chester, Illinois.

Kevin had worked as a Dispatch Supervisor for Illinois Transfer Company for 20 years.

He was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Chester. Kevin was a 3 ^rd Degree Knight for the Knights of Columbus #3790 in Chester. He enjoyed hunting and collecting guns and knives. Kevin loved spending time with his grandchildren.

It was Kevin’s wish to be cremated.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

being accepted at the Pechacek Funeral Homes in Chester.
