Kristy Jo Fleming

KRISTY JO FLEMING, 70, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 12:09 pm, Sunday, November 24, 2024 her residence.

She was born to the late Stan and Gladys (nee Eggemeyer) Conner on September 6, 1954 in Chester, Illinois.

Kristy married Robert P. Fleming on February 3, 1984 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Chester; he survives.

She began her career at Menard Correctional Center as a clerk on August 1, 1979 and retired as a corrections counselor on February 27, 2009.

Kristy was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Chester. Family was the most important to Kristy. Nothing made her more happy than hosting holidays with a delicious spread for her family and attending events for her grandchildren. Kristy enjoyed crafting, decorating and Dunn hunting with her good friend, Cheryl. She also enjoyed trips to the casino with her husband or girlfriends. Kristy had a heart for animals, especially dogs. She leaves behind her beloved Rocky.
