Lela Marie Rehmer

LELA MARIE REHMER , 83 , of Baldwin, Illinois, passed away at 5:34 pm, Saturday, July 13, 2019 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, Illinois.

She was born to the late August and Mary (nee Thies) Fuhrhop on December 12, 1935 in Walsh, Illinois.

Lela married Melvin Rehmer on August 7, 1955 at St. John Lutheran Church in Baldwin, Illinois; he preceded her in death on April 7, 2008.

She was a homemaker and she also had been the organist and custodian at St. John Lutheran Church for many years.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Baldwin, Illinois, Ladies Aid, L.W.M.L., American Legion Auxiliary of Baldwin and V.F.W. Auxiliary of Red Bud. She had been the secretary and treasurer for the NuDeal Horseshoe League. She was an avid Cardinals Baseball fan and loved spending time with her family and friends.
