Lily Mae Renner

LILY MAE RENNER , 96 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 12:23 am, Tuesday, January 25, 2021 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home, Chester, Illinois.

She was born to the late Frank and Myrtle (nee Radford) Canady on January 11, 1926 in Boss, Missouri.

Mae married Edmund P. Renner on November 7, 1942 in Perryville, Missouri; he preceded her in death on November 15, 2010.

She was a homemaker.

Mae was a member of Our Lady of Victory in Sereno, Missouri. She was a 50 plus year member of the Eagles Club in Chester and Ste. Genevieve and a previous member of the Moose Lodge #1764 and the American Legion Post #487 Auxiliary in Chester. Mae was also involved in the Chester Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and was a member of the CMA Hall in St. Mary. She enjoyed dancing, square dancing, sewing and crafts and loved to play cards.

A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville, Illinois with Danny Miller officiating.
