LORETTA MAE STOKER, 94, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 4:02 pm, Monday, April 27, 2020 in Potosi, Missouri.

She was born to the late Raleigh E. and Elizabeth M. (nee Lorentz) Smith on November 21, 1925 in Rockwood, Illinois.

Loretta married Charles Robert Stoker, Sr. on September 21, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri; he preceded her in death on April 8, 1992.

She had worked at Gilster Mary-Lee, Corp for 15 years.

Loretta was a talented seamstress and enjoyed spending time with her family and dogs.

Preceded in Death by : Parents, Husband, 3 Sons – Dennis Stoker, Charles Stoker, Jr., and Larry Stoker, 1 Brother – Walter Smith, 2 Sisters – Opal Easton & Ruth Stewart, 1 Granddaughter – Melissa Stoker and 2 Grandsons – James Stoker and Bryan Stoker

A Private Graveside Service will be held at Ebenezer Cemetery in Rockwood, Illinois with Rev. Phillip Keeton officiating.

Memorials contributions can be made in Loretta’s memory to Kindred Hospice and memorials are being accepted at the Pechacek Funeral Homes in Chester.
