MARCELLA A. ROWOLD, 90, of Red Bud, Illinois, formerly of Chester and Steeleville, Illinois, passed away at12:10 pm, Monday, March 11, 2019 at Red Bud Regional Care, Red Bud, Illinois.
She was born to the late Edward C. and Lorena (nee Wilson) Lindner on January 16, 1929 in Chester, Illinois.
Marcella married Walter F. Rowold on November 5, 1949 at St. John Lutheran Church in Breman, Illinois; he survives.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois, a lifetime member of V.F.W Auxiliary in Chester and D.A.V. Auxiliary. When Maureen was growing up; she was assistant Girl Scout leader and also helped in the local 4H Club.
Marcella was known for her letter writing and sending cards for birthdays, holidays and for special occasions.
