Margaret E. Pierce

MARGARET E. PIERCE, 95, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 11:44 pm, Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at her residence.

She was born to the late Henry and Elizabeth (nee Sharp) Patchett on September 5, 1924 in Wollaston, England.

Margaret married Elbert E. “Barney” Pierce on December 9, 1944 in Wollaston, England; he preceded her in death on January 12, 1993.

She was a retired lab technician at Gilster Mary-Lee.

Margaret was a member of First Baptist Church in Chester. She was also a lifetime auxiliary member of the V.F.W. Post #3553 in Chester.
