Margo Asselmeier

MARGO ASSELMEIER, 81, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 6:30 pm, Monday, December 12, 2022 at Independence Care Center, Perryville, Missouri.

She was born to the late Emil and Marguerite (nee Allard) Siegfried on December 23, 1940 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois.

Margo married Herman Asselmeier on March 2, 1957 in New Baden, Illinois; he preceded her in death on November 13, 2004.

She had worked as a hairdresser at the Pampered Lady for over 20 years.

Margo was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Chester, Illinois. She was also a member of the ladies altar sodality at church and the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Chester. Margo loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren.
