MARIE E. HECKTOR , 103 , of Perryville, Missouri, formerly of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 4:45 pm, Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Independence Care Center, Perryville, Missouri.

She was born to the late John and Mary (nee Nowak) Surman on April 22, 1917 in Chester, Illinois.

Marie married Leander Hecktor on November 6, 1935 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on November 27, 1976.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Chester, Illinois. She was also a member of the Blessed Virgin Altar Sodality.
