Marie Hoops

MARIE HOOPS , 92 of Chester , Illinois, passed away at 1:35 p m, Tues day, April 30 , 2019 at Memorial Hospital, Chester, Illinois .

She was born to the late Rudolph and Minnie (nee Wolters) Feldmann on February 2, 1927 in Wine Hill , Illinois.

Marie married Ervin C. Hoops on September 2 3 , 1950 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wine Hill; he preceded her in death on September 4, 198 8 .

She had worked at the International Shoe Factory for 13 years and later became a homemaker. After her husband passed away she cleaned the offices and labs for Gilster Mary-Lee Corporation.

Marie was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois . She was also a member of the Chester V.F.W. Auxiliary and volunteered at her church.

2 Great Grand children : Kaelyn and Tanner Rubach

2 Step Grandchildren: Tim Mitchell and Rick (Rachel) Mitchell

4 Step Great Grandchildren: Isla, Shafer, Grace and Olivia
