Marshall Lucian Brewer

MARSHALL LUCIAN BREWER, 86, of Ellis Grove, Illinois, passed away at 6:02 am, Friday, December 15, 2023 at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

He was born to the late Lucian Ignatius and Irma Isabella (nee Mudd) Brewer on April 26, 1937 in Evansville, Illinois.

Marshall married Carmeline Laurent on May 25, 1957 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; she survives.

He retired in 1997 after 40 years of roofing and was a member of the Roofer’s Local 2 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was also a member of the Eagles Club Aerie #3252 in Chester.

It was Marshall’s wish to be cremated. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, December 22, 2023 at Ellis Grove City Cemetery with Rev. Phillip Keeton officiating.

Memorials in Marshall’s memory may be made to Donor’s Choice and are being accepted at Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, Illinois.
