She was born to the late Leon and Ruth (nee Nimmo) Hartline on December 25, 1927 in Anna, Illinois.

She married John C. Lott on November 9, 1946 in Piggott, Arkansas; he preceded in death on March 14, 2011.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Ellis Grove, Illinois.
