Mary C. Meyer

MARY C. MEYER, 94, of Ellis Grove, Illinois, passed away at 9:40 am, Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Randolph County Care Center in Sparta, Illinois.

She was born to the late Charles and Frances (nee Gaerdner) Junger on April 2, 1925 in Fort Gage, Illinois.

Mary married Herbert Meyer on March 2, 1946 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on December 12, 1986.

She was a homemaker for many years before becoming a cook for Sparta Hospital. She was known for her quilting, cooking and enjoyed fishing.

Mary was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ellis Grove, Illinois. She was also a member of Ladies Altar Sodality.
