Mary Jane Scott

MARY JANE SCOTT, 86, of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 6:41 am, Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Randolph County Nursing Home, Sparta, Illinois.

She was born to the late Walter P. and Louise (nee Telthorster) Heck on January 19, 1933 in Evansville, Illinois.

She married Clisby Edward “Ed” Scott on November 16, 1968 in Evansville, Illinois; he survives.

Mary had worked at the Bank of Evansville (Buena Vista National Bank) for 20 years and Randolph County Courthouse in the Assessor Office and retired from there after 20 years.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Evansville, Illinois. Mary and Ed enjoyed traveling and visited 49 of the 50 states over the years.
