MICHAEL DAN HATHAWAY, 84, of Ellis Grove, Illinois, passed away at 2:44 pm, Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Red Bud Regional Care Center, Red Bud, Illinois.
He was born to the late Jack and Dorothy (nee Runge) Hathaway on January 9, 1939 in Chester, Illinois.
Michael married Myrtle A. Guethle on November 2, 1957 in Chester, Illinois; she preceded him in death on July 26, 2012.
He had worked as a laborer for the Laborer’s Local #925 for over 45 years.
Michael was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge #72 in Chester, Mississippi Valley Gun Club, Amateur Trap Shooter’s Association and was a Local Union President #925. Michael also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
