MICHAEL L. WOODS, 81, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 10:32 am, Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Three Springs Senior Living and Rehabilitation, Chester, Illinois.

He was born to the late Lewis G. and Agnes E. (nee Hilmes) Woods on February 12, 1944 in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Michael married Beverly Jane Crawford on February 14, 1969; she preceded him in death on May 26, 2024.

He had worked as a crew foreman for Morton Building for 37 years.

Michael was a member of Grace Church Ministries in Chester. He was a family man and loved to spend time with his grandchildren.

He was a United States Airforce Vietnam Veteran.
