NANCY DECKER , 78 , formerly of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 12:05 pm, Saturday, April 22, 2023 at DuQuoin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, DuQuoin, Illinois.

She was born to the late Albert C. and Imelda Mary Margaret (nee Obernuefemann) Gray on April 4, 1945 in Red Bud, Illinois.

Nancy married Gerald Decker on December 14, 1980 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on May 23, 2014.

She was a homemaker and had worked as a custodian for Gilster Mary-Lee in her younger years.

Nancy was of Christian Faith. She enjoyed baking, singing, reading the Bible, gardening and sewing. Her favorite thing was spending time with family.
