Patricia M. Underwood

PATRICIA M. UNDERWOOD, 82, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 7:57 pm, Sunday, May 11, 2025 at Landsowne Village, St. Louis, Missouri.

She was born to the late Edward “Ed” and Lois (nee Seacrest) Throgmorton on July 27, 1942 in Mount Vernon, Illinois.

Patricia married Jerry Underwood on May 29, 1970 in Freeburg, Illinois; he preceded her in death on March 5, 2017.

She had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for Monroe County Nursing Home.

Survivors:

   2 Sons: 

        Stephen Underwood (Stacy Restoff) Caseyville, IL

        Jason Underwood Red Bud, IL

   4 Grandsons: 

        Joseph Johnson

        Jalen Johnson

        Jamison Rodenberg

        Logan Underwood

   Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.

Preceded in death by: Parents, Husband, 1 Daughter – Lisa Underwood, and 2 Brothers - Stephen (Karen) Throgmorton and Eugene Throgmorton

It was Patricia’s wish to be cremated. A graveside service will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be made in Patricia’s honor to the family and are being accepted at Pechacek Funeral Home in Red Bud.
