Paul E Young

PAUL E. YOUNG , 7 6 , of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 5:35 pm, Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Randolph County Care Center, Sparta, Illinois.

He was born to the late Al Michael and Mildred Rose (nee Ehlers) Young on July 17, 1946 in Red Bud, Illinois.

Paul married Linda B. Schulein on May 6, 1978 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Evansville, Illinois; she preceded him in death on July 8, 2021.

Paul attended Sparta High School. After working several years for A& P Warehouse in Sauget, Illinois, he worked for Chester Mental Health in Chester, Illinois until his retirement in 2002.

Paul was member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Evansville, Illinois.

He enjoyed wood working in his spare time, and built his projects to last. He was active in his parish and the Knights of Columbus Council #1952 in Evansville, Illinois, and was named Knight of the Year in 2007. He donated generously with his time and treasure.
