Phillip R. Keeton

PHILLIP R. KEETON, 82, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 12:50 am, Sunday, December 8, 2024 at his residence.

He was born to the late Harvey and Floyda (nee Farmer) Keeton on July 19, 1942 in Rockwood, Illinois.

Phillip married the love of his life, Margaret Childers on November 30, 1959 in Perryville, Missouri; she survives.

He had retired from Chester School District #139 as a custodian and also retired from Moore and Wittenborn Thriftway Market. Phillip spent his retired years as a pastor for the First Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Chester.

Phillip was a beacon of the community and spent his life serving God and helping others. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and talking about Jesus. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
