Ralph Louis Skorcz

RALPH LOUIS SKORCZ , 74 , of Ellis Grove, Illinois, passed away at 3:24 am, Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home, Chester, Illinois.

He was born to the late Leo and Zettie (nee Brown) Skorcz on May 10, 1948 in DuQuoin, Illinois.

Ralph married Alice Hartmann on December 17, 1977 in Ellis Grove, Illinois; she preceded him in death on October 14, 1992.

He had worked as a prison guard for Menard Correctional Center in Chester, Illinois for 31 years.

Ralph was of the Catholic Faith. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Ralph was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved cheering on the Chester Yellowjackets. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching them play ball.
