Raymond F Almasy

RAYMOND F. ALMASY , 80, of Sparta, Illinois, passed away at 6:10 am, Friday, June 9, 2023 at his residence.

He was born to the late Joseph C. and Evelyn Mary (nee Woods) Almasy on March 23, 1943 in Breese, Illinois.

Raymond married Sharon Husemann on January 31, 1969 at Peace Lutheran Church in Steeleville, Illinois; she survives.

He had worked at American Device in Steeleville, Illinois and then went to work for Zeiger Coal Mine until his retirement in 1997.

Raymond enjoyed being outside and working in his yard.

It was Raymond’s wishes to be cremated and a service will be held at a later date.
