Rebecca Lea Galeski

REBECCA LEA GALESKI, 64, of Steeleville, Illinois, passed away at 3:30 pm, Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at her residence.

She was born to the late John “Bill” and Mary E. (nee Blare) Matheney on July 2, 1956 in Bremerhaven, Germany.

Rebecca married William “Bill” C. Galeski on June 10, 1972 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Chester, Illinois; he survives.

She had worked as a caregiver in home health.

Rebecca was a member of First Baptist Church in Steeleville, Illinois.

It was Rebecca’s wish to be cremated.
