Richard Ray Gendron

RICHARD RAY GENDRON, 71, of Carbondale, Illinois, passed away at 7:44 pm, Saturday, July 3, 2021 at his residence.

He was born to the late Monroe and Lillian (nee Mansfield) Gendron on September 27, 1949 on Kaskaskia Island, Illinois.

Richard married Brenda Bedwell on September 7, 1968; she survives.

He had worked as a mechanic for Mississippi Lime Company for 42 years.

Richard was a member of First Baptist Church in Chester, Illinois and American Legion Post # 347 Carterville, Illinois. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

He was an Army Veteran.
