Richard Lee Stockwell

RICHARD L EE STOCKWELL , 8 7 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 12:30 am, Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at his residence.

He was born to the late James and Louie (nee Wilson) Stockwell on April 16, 1933 in Chester, Illinois.

Richard married Glenda Smith on April 13, 1957 in Perryville, Missouri; she survives.

He had worked as an electrician for Menard Correctional Center in Chester, Illinois for over 25 years.

He was of the Christian Faith. Richard was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post #3553. He also enjoyed his garden and flowers and loved to watch Chester High School football.

Richard was an Army Veteran.
