Rick A Horrell

RICK A. HORRELL , 62, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 4:10 am, Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, Illinois.

He was born to the late Sylvester “Vess” and Verna M. (nee Voges) Horrell on October 10, 1960 in Belleville, Illinois.

Rick married Nancy Luttman on May 2, 1981 at St. John Lutheran Church in Red Bud, Illinois; she survives.

He had been the previous owner along with his brother, Randy, of Hi Way Motors from 1981 – 2008 in Red Bud, Illinois.  Rick then owned and operated Horrell Motorsports from 2008-2018.

He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Red Bud, Illinois.  He was an avid golfer and a member of the North County Country Club in Red Bud, Illinois.  He also had served on the Red Bud Chamber of Commerce Board.  His other favorite pastime was spending time in the woods hunting.
