Robert O Schaefer

ROBERT O. SCHAEFER, 86, of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 6:48 pm, Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at his residence.

He was born to the late Jacob H. and Frances C. (nee Eschmann) Schaefer on January 21, 1937 in East St. Louis, Illinois.

Robert married Martha Woll on April 23, 1960 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Sparta, Illinois; she survives.

Robert had been a dairy farmer and had also worked for World Color Press as a Supervisor.

He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Evansville, Illinois and served on the Parish Council and was a former trustee. He was also a Eucharistic Minister. He also had served on the Randolph Farmer board. Robert was a very strong role model for his family and loved spending time with them.

He had been a Sergeant in the United States Army.
