RODNEY EARL EGGEMEYER, SR., 88, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 4:18 pm, Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home, Chester, Illinois.
He was born to the late Isaac and Mary (nee Roche) Eggemeyer on October 25, 1931 in Chester, Illinois.
Rodney married Martha Fern Guethle on February 9, 1952 at Zion Lutheran Church in Walsh, Illinois; she preceded him in death on November 19, 2010.
Rodney had worked as a welder for A.O. Smith and the Laborer’s Local #925 in Chester for over 50 years.
He was of Lutheran Faith. Rodney enjoyed hunting and fishing and playing cards. He also loved to play his guitar and sing and dance.
