Roger Leo Lauterjung

ROGER LEO LAUTERJUNG, 82, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 9:26 am, Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at his residence.

He was born to the late Edward H. and Clara C. (nee Gaertner) Lauterjung on June 27, 1942 in Randolph County, Illinois.

Roger married Jacqueline Sue Ray on August 31, 1968 in Moultrie County, Illinois; she preceded him in death.

After graduating from Chester High School in 1960, Roger attended Southern Illinois University where he received an Associates of Technology. He then went on to Eastern Illinois University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in business administration. Roger worked for the United States Postal Service until his retirement.

Roger was a United States Army Veteran.
