RONALD “DUCK” OLIN LINK , 83 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 at his residence.

He was born to the late Harold Joseph and Ina Dott (nee Straight) Link on February 21, 1938 in Chester, Illinois.

Ronald married Nan Kathryn Beers on October 19, 1963 in Chester, Illinois; she preceded him in death on April 21, 2016.

He worked as Production Manger at McDonnell-Douglas in St. Louis, Missouri for 30 years.

He was a member of St. Cletus Catholic Church, Knight of Columbus Council #823 and American Legion Post #312, all in St. Charles, Missouri.

He was a supporter of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Chester, Illinois and had been a former teacher at St. Mary’s Catholic School, Chester, Illinois. He was an avid reader of history books and biographies.

He was a United States Army Veteran.
