RONALD E. LARAMORE, 78, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 1:07 pm, Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at his residence.
He was born to the late Malcom and Juanita (nee Mines) Laramore on August 4, 1943 in East St. Louis, Illinois.
Ronald married Judy Maue on September 2, 1965 in Tilden, Illinois; she survives.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1962-1965 in both Korea and Vietnam. Upon returning, he worked at Spartan Printing and then worked and retired as a Security Therapy Aid at Chester Mental Health Center.
Ronald was a member of the V.F.W. Post #3553 in Chester where he had served as a Post Commander, the Mississippi Valley Gun Club and the Single Action Shooter Society. He also enjoyed teaching hunting safety courses to young hunters. He was a jack of all trades. Ronald enjoyed doing pretty much anything outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and camping at Sutton’s Bluff in Missouri. He also had a taxidermy shop.

It was Ronald’s wish to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at Randolph County Lake Shelter House #1 on Saturday, September 3, 2022 between 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. It will be open house. Military Honors will be held at 3:00 pm that day.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ronald’s memory to the family and are being accepted at Pechacek Funeral Homes in Chester.
