Rose A. Eggemeyer

ROSE A. EGGEMEYER, 95, of Ellis Grove, Illinois, passed away at 9:42 pm, Sunday, April 19, 2026 at her residence.

She was born to the late Lucian I. and Irma I. (nee Mudd) Brewer on October 18, 1930 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois.

Rose married Rolland L. Eggemeyer on October 27, 1951 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on March 14, 2013.

She had worked at the International Shoe Factory in Evansville, was a school bus driver, a farm wife and co-manager of Pop-A-Top Lounge in Ellis Grove.

Rose was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Chester. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge #1764 and the KIDC. Rose enjoyed getting her hair done every week, going out to eat with her sister and spending time with her family.
