Roy L. Heldebrandt, Sr.

ROY L. HELDEBRANDT, SR., 83, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 8:38 am, Thursday, January 27, 2022 at his residence.

He was born to the late Carl and Violet (nee Chastain) Heldebrandt on November 6, 1938 in Witt, Illinois.

Roy married Ruth Nelson on October 25, 1963 in Dietrich, Illinois; she survives.

He had worked as a teacher for 46 years and had worked at Chester High School for 38 years. Roy was also a school bus driver for 31 years.

Roy enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to spend time with his family.
