Roy Lee Seymour

ROY LEE SEYMOUR, 83, of Ellis Grove, Illinois, passed away at 6:48 pm, Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Mercy Hospital South, St. Louis, Missouri.

He was born to the late Roy and Jennie (nee Sebastian) Seymour on May 11, 1941 in Fort Gage, Illinois.

Roy married Rose Mae Stirnaman on October 31, 1980 in Jackson, Missouri; she preceded him in death on January 28, 2015.

He had worked as a laborer and then had worked as a Security Therapy Aide at Chester Mental Health Center until his retirement.

Roy was a member of First Baptist Church in Ellis Grove. He was also a life member of the Moose Lodge#1764 in Chester. Roy enjoyed fishing and spending time in Florida.

He was a United States Air Force Veteran.
